RAMONA ROBERTS COUNSELING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY, INC.

Counseling individuals, couples, families and children in the Portland Metro area

Hello and thank you for visiting my online home. If you have decided to make constructive change in your life you have already taken the important first step toward achieving your goal.

Getting to what really matters

I believe that you have the inner resources to change your life. Sometimes, however, the demands of living leave you uncertain about how to proceed. If this happens you may not know what to do or where to turn. Working together we will take a realistic look at your beliefs, your thoughts and feelings, and what actions you have taken. Getting to what really matters to you means clarifying your most authentic, most deeply held needs and values. This understanding helps you evaluate what you want, the choices available to you, and what the consequences of your choices might be. Then you can take responsible and meaningful action

If you get to what really matters to you, you may find improvements in:

  • Becoming who you want to be (trusting your own judgment, handling disappointment, trying new things, maintaining healthy boundaries)
  • Relationships
  • Career satisfaction
  • Managing stress effectively
  • Living authentically
  • Healing from a hurtful past

Finding a counselor you feel comfortable with is crucial

Research indicates a good relationship with your counselor is the most important factor in the success of your counseling experience. I will collaborate with you to build on the strengths and resources you already possess to support constructive progress in your life.
